How It Works
When a customer completes a booking on your booking page, their deposit is charged immediately. The funds are held securely and included in your regular payouts.
Deposit Flow
- Customer selects a service and date
- Customer enters their card information
- Deposit is charged immediately upon booking
- You receive the deposit in your next payout
Example
For a $300 Full Detail with a 25% deposit:
- Deposit collected at booking: $75.00
- Remaining balance due at service: $225.00
Why Collect Deposits
- Reduces no-shows. Customers who pay upfront are far more likely to show up
- Confirms serious intent. Separates real bookings from tire-kickers
- Protects your time. If someone cancels last-minute, you keep the deposit
- Improves cash flow. Money hits your account before you do the work
Configure Your Deposit
Set your deposit percentage in Booking Page → Payment Settings. Most detailers use 25%, but you can choose 15%, 25%, or 50% based on your preference.
